Joahna Tupas founded School in a Backpack in 2014. She works with parents and educators as a speaker, author and coach in experiential learning and character education.
MyKuboCo helps families find real-world learning experiences and keep a record of what a child learned there. School in a Backpack is its first partner.
An assessment records what a student demonstrated. It is never a grade or a credit on its own.
A parent or an accredited partner school records credit separately, with the evidence attached.
Children never sign up themselves. We collect a first name and a grade level, nothing more.
